When browsing through the blogosphere, you see a lot of blogs filled with rants, bitchiness and negative energy emanating from the writer. It is so refreshing to see a blog that aims to spread good cheer by posting an encouraging comment in someone else’s blog. The Complimenting Commenter started this crusade just last April 28,2005 and was originally conceived to be the "Pay It Forward of the blogging community." To date, The Complimenting Commenter has given out 1,970 compliments.

The Complimenting Commenter is stepping it up a notch by launching a "Summer of Compliments" this 2005 (FYI, summer period referred to technically ends on September 22 unlike the Philippines, where summer ended last May).

The goal of Summer of Compliments 2005 (which was officially started last June 21,2005) is to give out 100 compliments to 100 others throughout the summer — it could be online or in real life.
