Your resident gimikera is here to share her expeditions in this journey called life.
I was very lucky this July 2005 to have met the people behind USTExchange during the Blast4 eyeball party at Club 650 at Libis last July 2. However, before I went to the event, I met with Roger at Gateway Mall where we ate in Taco Bell and took pictures at The Oasis. I also saw a former officemate of mine and a former orgmate of mine from CRS. I also got to talk with the founder of USTExchange, Doc Noel, and he encouraged me to sign up with his new community, blogger.finder.ph.
I listed down some of the nice gestures that make me fulfilled as a blogger and I listed them down in the entry How you can brighten a blogger’s day.
NASA scheduled a collision between space probe ‘Deep Impact’ and comet Temple 1 last July 4 and the resulting images were spectacular.
My birthday was last June 19 but I had two post-birthday celebrations at the office and I posted the pictures on my blog only last July 9. On the first post-birthday celebration, I made Microwaveable Oatmeal Brownies with Hazelnut spread while on the post-post birthday celebration, we feasted on spaghetti, ube cake and chocolate cake from Red Ribbon.
I got a bit sentimental when my High School friends and I went to a videoke in Timog after Lyra’s birthday dinner at Burgoo last July 2. I played the song Saan Na Napunta Ang Panahon by APO Hiking Society and the line “San na nga ba ang barkada ngayon?” really struck a chord in me – literally and figuratively – and I couldn’t help but recall all our HS batchmates who I’ve lost in touch with.
I used to think that the trend tool for blogs was was an exclusive service provided by BlogPulse.com, which I featured in an earlier post but then I saw a similar tool being offered by new pinging service called IceRocket.com, so I decided to do a feature on it as well.
I laughed out loud when I read a post called The Buttafly Guide to Interpreting Friendster Photos and you can learn more about it here.
In the spirit of friendly competition, I decided to feature a blog that was doing rather well in Yahoo! Search results all because of the presence of ex-Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson.
I recently got an email from Paypal saying that I need to log-in to their site since there was unusual activity in my account. I got suspicious right away and it turned out that it was one of the many kinds of hackers out there trying to fool unsuspecting surfers into revealing their personal information. Learn more about these hackers shmuckers and be forewarned about their differences.

Da Vinci certainly had hidden so many secrets in his lifetime that we are still astounded by modern-day revelations about this artistic genius. The latest find was Da Vinci masterpiece not seen since 1563.
I haven’t posted a quiz for quite some time so I posted several this month – What’s Your Intimacy Quotient?; What Kind of Coffee Are You?; What’s Your Japanese Name? and What’s Your Blogging Personality?
Last July 7, Lala, Wilma and I attended Rare Music Night at Freedom Bar, where Chuck’s band (Pay It Forward) performed with him as the lead singer.

I got my first meme and it’s a Book Baton, which I passed on to Roger, Jeff and Nathaniel.
I posted several overdue entries since I just finished downloading the pics from my digicam. After paying our respects to the late Cardinal Sin in Manila Cathedral, Roger and I went sight-seeing in Manila after dark and got to see the hidden beauty of this urbane city.
I couldn’t end July 2005 without showcasing my entries for this month’s PhotoQuest, which consisted of a bank, a calendar, an instrument, a library and a mannequin.
While browsing through my blogmarks, I read an interesting song parody created by Chris Doelle entitled Blogebrity, which is reprinted in part in this entry.
July 2005 has been a fun-filled time and I look forward to more gimiks in this journey called life.
