One of the publicity tools of Feedburner.com is the headline animator that dynamically changes to show the title and opening words of my latest blog post. It’s a very cool feature since it is quite eye-catching and it continuously updates itself so every time I add a new post, it will be reflected almost immediately in my headline animator.

I’ve been having problems using it as my email signature in my Yahoo account though. After 30+ attempts at attaching my headline animator as as my signature, I finally succeeded and I even posted the steps I used in the forums of Feedburner since the procedure they sent me wasn’t that useful. I discovered that one needed to edit the signature field in Internet Explorer so you can view the color and graphics bar. We use Mozilla Firefox in the office so I wasn’t able to fix it.

Click here for the steps to follow in using your headline animator as your Yahoo! email signature (provided that you have created one for blog already).

Fortunately, I didn’t encounter any problems when I used my headline animator as my signature for in the forums where I post. I’ve recently reactivated my account in USTExchange, the online community of my alma mater, the University of Santo Tomas. I’m hoping to generate more traffic by using my clickable new signature.
